Domosig Inc., a company specializing in POS software research and development, has been established to give the right business answer in real time and take advantage of new possibilities stemming from the evolution of IT technologies and POS systems. When Daniel Boisvert and Boris Mongeau met they saw that POS software solution needed in today’s highly competitive retail environment had not yet been brought to par with current needs. A great deal of experience and thorough knowledge of POS Systems enabled Daniel to identify the needs that were still unanswered with existing softwares. On his side, Boris, a talented young programmer known for his sound judgment to solve specific business issues with technology, was given a mandate to find the right POS software to manage new business situations in today's environment. The owner of a renowned retail chain needed, among many things, to access all her business results (sales, profits, inventory, transfers...) in real time from anywhere in the world. After extensive research, it became obvious that such a POS software at the right price just did not exist. Moreover, solutions tested were creating more problems than they were actually solving. And that did not give any break to the owner and managers of this furniture retail chain. They wanted a reliable and steady solution for a multi-location retail operation that would give them access to all business results so they could finally be at peace with very specific issues. Daniel and Boris were to take up this challenge and develop a brilliant real time multi-location POS software solution.
